St. Mark’s translators Group in Bolivia

“Out of Egypt I called my Son.” Matt 2:14
On September 18, 2014, arrived in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and began their service under the auspice of H.G. Bishop Youssef. They presented the Egyptian culture on Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Plaza de los Estudiants, downtown Santa Cruz. The group presented a traditional dance, a movie about the appearances of St. Mary, the life of Anba Antonious the father of Monks, the Egyptian culture and a map of the Holy Family in Egypt. They also displayed Pharaonic statues and Egyptian plates to taste the culture.
On Friday, September 26, 2014, the same was presented in the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Mark´s Coptic Orthodox Church.
In addition, they prepared some activities in Juguemos a Aprender daycare and St. Abraam daycare. The group also organized a lot of different activities for the kids, youth, graduates, and women in the church of St. Mary and St. Joseph, Valle Sanchez, Archangel Michael in Paquio, St. Philopateer in Montero, St. George church in Santa Cruz and St. Verena church in Santa Rosa village. They visited an orphanage and prepared food for the homeless.
St. Mark’s translators is the first group to come from Egypt. May God bless them and all their hard work and may the Lord reward them in heavenly rewards through the prayers of St. Mary and St. Mark, the prayers of H.H. Pope Tawadros II who encrouged them through every step and the prayers of H.G. Bishop Youssef who created this group since 2006.
