On Saturday, July 21 2013 our church was blessed to receive His Grace Bishop Serapion of the diocese of Los Angeles and Hawaii. On the same day our church welcomed the arrival of Fr. Mauritius Mikhail and a group from Los Angeles, California. We are very excited to have Fr. Mauritius
with us for the fifth time. His group of youth comes annually to provide services for our church youth and carries out a project for the betterment of the health of our community. It is always a great blessing to have the Los Angeles Diocese group and now together with His Grace Bishop Serapion. May the Lord bless the work of their hands and continue to show us His grace through the service of our fellow Copts from America.

THE CHURCH CELEBRATES THE BAPTISM OF 22 MEMBERS

On Sunday, July 22, 2013 we were blessed to have 22 Coptic Orthodox Christians added to the church. The baptism of the 22 catechumens was prayed by His Grace Bishop Youssef, Fr. Mauritius Mikhail, and the priests of our church.

THE CHURCH OFFERS TWO NEW APARTMENTS TO FAMILIES IN NEED WITH MUCH JOY

On the 24th of July 2013, two newly built apartments in the Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox  Center situated in Valle Sanchez were gladly offered to two families under the auspices of H.G. Bishop Youssef. H.G. Bishop Sarabion of Los Angeles was also present to bless the new homes of the families in need when they excitingly received their new home keys. The bishops prayed with the rest of the people to sanctify the residences. It was a pleasurable and emotional moment for all.
