On this 8th of Mars 2012 we would like to take a moment to thank and wish a happy International Woman day to all of our women.

The UN theme for International Women’s Day this year is “Empower Women – End Hunger and Poverty”. This is something that we have been working on tirelessly for a few years now and that we try to accomplish via the numerous empowerment and help programs for women of our community that we run, specially toward the single mothers either by providing them jobs or financial help to start a small business.

Today marks the first day of our annual youth spiritual retreat. The retreat will be held at church during the next three consecutive days.

The guideline verse of the retreat is 1 Timothy 4:12 which says “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

There will be different discussed topics like: speech, conduct, love, faith and purity.
